Robert Alvin Crum will be portraying Daniel Boone at this site which is the location of the Shawnee town of Old Chillicothe where Boone was taken after his capture by the Shawnee in February 1778. This park was established to honor and preserve the history and culture of the Shawnee people, and this Festival is sponsored by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.
